Biography

Dave is a living Sutton High legend. Not content with chucking himself about the pitch, with scant regard for his dodgy knees, he took on a rag-tag group of under 13s and in the process launched the Sunday XI. After a dodgy start, the struggling boys evolved into a Sunday force, rising from the Leatherhead & District Div 10 to the Premier in the space of 4 years (they were that good). Moving into the Modern & District territory also saw Sutton High enter the FA Sunday Cup two years running.
Thanks to work commitments he has had to give up the Sunday mantle, but remains as club President.
